Work Ethics
How I got here is a long story, but what you need to know is that I want to become a better mathematician!
Ironically, it is not trivial to find unobstructed time to do math consistently while doing a PhD in Applied Mathematics. It’s easy to spend an entire month coding and realize you haven’t touched a pencil even once.
So to ensure that I am both putting in the necessary hours and protecting time specifically for doing math, I have decided to track my hours and share them here for the world to see!
Nothing like the good old social pressure : )
I am using Toggl to track my progress and will be attaching my monthly reports below. In the near future, I also plan to update this page with the specific materials I am studying outside of research.
